The Doctor Might Not Tell You: Better Health Comes From Within

Many of us today will connect healthcare to doctors and hospitals but oftentimes they are in the business of disaster control and real “healthcare” means that we care about our health and take control of our own goals for better health.

The Breathing Box

The Breathing Box

You can create a solid foundation for your personal health and your healthcare provider can be your guide rather than your savior.  There are a number of areas where you can focus that require little effort but reap big rewards.

This is when we think about the Nike creed, “just do it” because without personal motivation we cannot experience real wellness.

Get Enough Sleep

Invest, practice, prepare, do whatever you can to help yourself get at least 7 hours of sleep each night.  The health benefits of enough sleep are very real.

Eat Fresh Fruits And Veggies

When it comes to health benefits, those who follow the old advice to eat more fruits and vegetables will find that their physical and mental health reaps great rewards from the practice.

Move Your Body

You have heard it a million times, there are enormous health benefits to getting some form of exercise every single day.  Just 30 minutes of physical exertion will absolutely improve your quality of life.

Say You’re Sorry

If there is something unsaid that is creating stress in your life then regardless of fault, releasing that emotional baggage will instantly boost your sense of wellness.

Be Grateful

When you are longing for things that you believe you need instead of feeling grateful for what you have, your health can be directly and adversely, effected. Concentrate on feeling thankful for your blessings.

Don’t Hold Grudges

Forgiveness is another great frame of mind that frees your body from damaging stress hormones brought on my seething anger.  By holding on to that state of mind you can damage your health.

Better health is not achieved by accident, it takes effort on the part of the person seeking to find it.  By successfully incorporating these simple acts into your life you will find that health and wellness that you desire.
